My friend Christine. I first met Christine at college when she was advertising for roommates. She was renting a cool midcentury modern ranch with a pool! I had already signed a lease so I couldn’t join in the communal experience, but we shared a film production course the following year. Christine impressed me on many levels. The fact that she was able to create her own business, which enabled her to travel to Peru, design and manufacture her own line of jewelry, return to the States, and, while on several tours (Grateful Dead and Lollapalooza), was able to finance two years at Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts. Chris “hired” me to record sound on her student film project, and from there on, we became good friends. Soon afterward, we became very close, sharing spiritual experiences, a home, and philosophies. I was also impressed to learn that she had previously led a musical group in the Allentown area of Pennsylvania, the Christine Breese Band. She recorded many songs, had one album, and many more songs in development when personal conflicts within the band brought that chapter to an unfortunate close. After graduation, Chris went to California to an ashram to gain some focus and inspiration on what she needed to develop and guide her future. After a trip to Mexico, she returned to Orlando, where we worked on an independent film together before she struck out again to California, where she established the University of Metaphysical Sciences (UMS). During this time, I discovered her former music catalog, arranged the songs into albums, and sent them to her. She was then inspired to create more music and build another band in the Eureka, California, area. Her music can rock, be soulful, and ethereal, with a moving and loving voice. Soon, I relocated to California and was able to assist Christine with a few of her video production projects. Meanwhile, she built an online/distance learning University, the University of Metaphysical Sciences. The University grew in popularity and acquired numerous academic accreditations. Not a small feat. It was a natural progression for Christine to expand into practicing some of these philosophies. So she struck out to Ecuador and founded the Gaia Sagrada Ayahuasca Retreat Center. Many people have been able to visit her facility and heal and grow personally from the experience. I regret not visiting Chris at the Gaia Sagrada Center. She has helped me over the decades with support, love, and guidance. She is a fine feathered friend and an angel on earth. I hope and pray that she can overcome this health issue and continue her remarkable dedication to simple love and light healing.

Christine is an amazing woman, healer, shaman, and human! Meeting her and experiencing her love, dedication, and positive light was life changing for me. She truly has a wonderful gift to share with the world and my time spent at Gaia was not only inspiring and transformative, but I left feeling more connected and confident in my place in this world. Christine supported me along in that journey. Christine’s passion for people and knowledge of the magic of healing, ceremony, and light are a huge gift to this world. Just as how she has supported me and many others through her work, I would hope that her energy can be used as her strength in healing and that we, as a collective, can support her financially for a full recovery.

Christine has touched my heart with her magic as she has done for so many others. I will always be thankful for her and for the place she has built up that has gathered so many souls together in pursuit of deep healing through plant medicines. She has held space for so many during immensely difficult times and I pray that she now receives the medicine that can cure her and allow her to continue to spread love and healing. I do not think my life would have been the same had I not met Christine. She has a been a guide, a light, and a friend to many along the tumultuous and mysterious path of healing and re-connection. I always felt safe in her presence. I admire her depth of compassion, her healing abilities, and the confidence she has in others. Christine, you are truly such a divine and treasured soul! I wish you peace and health.

I have so much love and respect for Christine. She is courageous and tenacious, but also gentle and kind. I met Christine back in 2014 and when I saw her dedication and passion she had for helping to heal humanity, I wanted to be a part of her vision. Since then, she has opened her home and heart up to so many people and made them part of her family.

Over these past 10 years, I have witnessed her loyalty to this project at the expense of her own health and unfortunately the constant stress and lack of sleep from doing this extraordinary work has taken a toll on her physical body. If she has ever done anything for you…opened up her home, helped you heal, offered you a unique experience or in any way helped you improve your life, I hope you can find it in your heart to donate to this extraordinary woman’s treatment needs so we can ALL continue to enjoy the joy and healing she brings to the world simply because she is in it.

I have known Christine for probably close to 10 years. I have witnessed her dedicate her life energy to helping others. I have known Christine Breese since 2005, and have been associated with The University of Metaphysical Sciences since that time, working as an advisor for students enrolled in the school that she founded. Christine is one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever had the blessing of crossing paths with. I met her in Ecuador at the retreat center she founded. To this day, it remains one of my favorite places on the planet. Through Christine’s influence, teachings, and essence, the retreat center has provided an essential stepping stone in so many people’s healing journeys, including my own. At this center, I have gotten to witness Christine’s personal power first hand. I’ve watched her cure an “incurable” woman of her ailments within minutes, I’ve watched her console the distraught, I’ve watched her teach people how to make their lives infinitely better, I’ve watched her provide endless opportunities for hope and love. This incredible woman is always pouring into others cups. She is constantly building the pathway to healing for all of humanity. She has found her work in this lifetime and on this world, and it is IMPORTANT work. I have so much love for Maima Christine and I wish many more years of health for her as she continues to lead humanity to a better future.

I fervently wish for my dear friend Christine to remain with us on this beautiful plane of existence we call Earth, continuing to lead her uniquely enchanting ceremonies that fill our nights with dance and wonder. My dream for her extends to globetrotting adventures, exploring the myriad destinations she’s always yearned to see, embracing the beauty of our world in its fullest.

Christine is a powerful force for good in this world.  We witnessed real magic and powerful healing at a retreat in 2022.  It’s entirely too soon for her to leave this world; she has so much to give and teach us all.  Christine is an inspirational warrior with the heart of a lion, and I know that if she can get the necessary treatment she will be able to heal and continue to massively and positively impact many more souls.

Christine is my teacher, mentor, friend, and sister. I am incredibly honored to know her and work with her in this life. From the moment I met her, she completely changed the course of my life. She instantly saw me for who I am and has poured endless value and love into my heart from that moment forward. She has not only done this for me but for thousands of humans looking for healing and direction. I have been blessed to be a part of her vision and mission on this planet. Her spirit and presence on Earth is a blessing for all of us. I have never met someone who cares so deeply about the healing and awakening of humanity. Her humility, kindness, and tenacious spirit have created a school for people to understand metaphysics and a nonprofit plant medicine healing center to allow true healing to reach all walks of life. To Christine, one of the strongest women to come into my life. Your dream and the work you put into creating Gaia Sagrada has been a huge influence on my life. The space you created is one only spoken of in fairy tales. The healing and growth I have seen in the space has been incredible. Without your vision and determination I know this would not be in existence today, and the world would be missing out. It is such a pleasure to know you and to see that your light is shining over so many people that you have come into contact with over the years. I have met many people in my life but very few as devoted to helping others as Christine! She has devoted her life to helping people heal from their traumas, addictions and rediscover their inner powers. She has been doing this for a very long time through education, LOVE, her Energy, sharing her knowledge and wisdom all while going against the system. She helped this former train wreck right here and now she needs our help! This world needs her here to continue helping people wake up and move on from their past nightmares. Christine is a medicine woman in the truest sense. But beyond her title, she is a woman with a powerful vision to change the world. And what a ripple effect she has made – thousands of angels have rediscovered their wings with her. Me included. She is an inspiration to me. Someone who, through conviction and devotion, has created a space for people to find their purpose and their power. We are not helpless to the chaos of this world. And it’s time now to give her that same healing space too. So many who are lost to the darkness have cast their evil eye on this living embodiment of a guardian angel. I will not stand for it. Her work is instrumental to this world. Her center is an island of light. And we must protect her at all costs, for her wisdom is not done speaking on this earth. I, and so many others, still have so much to learn from her. For all that she has done, and all the darkness she has faced, she deserves to enjoy her little slice of heaven without fear, pain, or misery. For me, Christine is an example to follow. She seems to me to be a very creative, generous and warrior woman. She represents the Gemini in all her splendor, she is very dual 🙂

I find it interesting how to find beauty in all things. They can be very sad or unpleasant things to see, but she tries to see them from the side of kindness and humility. 

Since I have known her, I have witnessed the great human being that she is, she has always been very empathetic with other people, and she likes to help everyone. I had never known anyone up close who was as generous as she was. I mean, I’ve met plenty of people who are blessed with resources, but not as generous as she is. 

She has provided help to the entire community in Jadán, Cuenca- Ecuador. Always with food, construction and other charitable activities. For me, that is already incredible and worthy of admiration.

She is a tireless woman, she always has energy to do many things at the same time. Although we are always learners in many things, she represents, for me, a great teacher, she is an innate leader. She has always been willing to teach me many things, both professional and personal. 

It’s true that writing beautiful things does good for those who need it, due to the vulnerability in which they find themselves. But to me, you’re great C., I know you can handle this. You will be fine! (Perhaps it is my way of evading that sadness or fear of not seeing you on this plane) 

A couple of years ago, I felt very sad because I had cysts on my ovaries, thanks to the changes I made in my lifestyle and spiritual learning that I was given at Gaia Sagrada. I was able to improve the situation. Currently I can say that I no longer suffer from it.

I love you very much, although I don’t say it very often, that’s how I feel. Many blessings always C!

Christine is a spectacular shaman, healer, and force of nature. My time with her was a turning point in my life – one where I was able to shed the limiting beliefs of my past and turn towards the future with new confidence. The center she has created – Gaia Sagrada – is a truly magical place that calls to it angels of all types to teach, to learn, to exchange, and to build community. Christine’s profound presence in every element of the center is at the core of what makes Gaia a brilliant place to expand your understanding of reality and of self. And, Christine’s ceremonies, rich in healing, release, alchemy, and rebirth are, in the truest sense of the word, life changing. We need Christine – and her many gifts – in the world for another 30 (or more!) years. Years ago, I met Christine at a gathering on a mountainside in Ecuador not realizing at the time what an awesome person she was and the important role she would play in my life. Through my own negligence a few months later while visiting her, I became violently ill and and without hesitation she came to my aid, drove me to the hospital and stayed with me for the whole process. I do not speak Spanish, so she translated everything and advised me every step of the way. She did not pause or slow down to doubt her actions or generosity and care for a second, but just went straight ahead to what was best for me. I’ll never forget the love and caring she exhibited that day and have come to know that this is how she lives her life as she has helped hundreds or maybe thousands of people over the years as she did me. Recently, the tables have turn for her and it’s time for us to help her. I can’t urge you strongly or sincerely enough to lend your support to her in her time of need. Please contribute generously as she has done so much for so many. It’s only fair.

Christine has always been a being of light, even when she walked through flames and darkness in her journey she never lost her north. She sacrificed everything for a greater good, bigger than her, and this world. Being in her presence brings nurture and womb for creation/rebirth, like a  phoenix rising from the flames of the old you into an alive you. Her sole mission is to help you bring out the darkness into the light. Even if the darkness comes with demons she would put her life on the line with prayers from the holy God to protect you. Darkness cannot survive in the light. She has helped me in my journey of violence, death and rebirth into peacemaking and loving, not with feelings but with actions, actions of a being created in God. Christine’s purpose is never ending, she is young, beautiful, and full of life. She still has mountains to move for the greater good of others. She is a warrior of the heavens that will never stop fighting for a greater good. 

Chistine has touched my heart and inspired me to make a difference in the world.  She has created a (literally) worldwide awakening with increased awareness of the power of love.  She does this with her skills as a shaman with jungle medicines, and education. I have heard her say “follow your heart and the money will follow.” She has followed her heart and I believe the money will follow to meet her medical needs.  She needs us now and we need her too. 

To the Planet:

I have had the honor of living and working closely with Christine for a number of years now.  She is one of the bright, shining light beams in this world, and has dedicated 100 percent of her heart, her keen intelligence, her unparalleled energy, and her boundless creativity, to helping 1000’s of people, from around the world, heal from every kind of trauma and pain.  In moving past them, so many have been empowered to go forward in their lives with more love, wisdom, serenity, equanimity, patience and compassion for themselves and others.  The ripples are immense.

Out of her passion for this work, with no trust fund or angel investor, she, along with her partner Bruce, created Gaia Sagrada, on 55 acres in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador.  They created it as non-profit, and the retreat center is always on the knife`s edge, financially speaking.  There is no one getting wealthy here, not as measured in dollars, at least.  As Gaia is among the least expensive retreat options, as well as the highest praised, we’ve often suggested to Christine that she raise her prices.  Her response has always been that she wants to provide the opportunity to come here to as many as possible. 

Christine lives very modestly, drives an old truck, has no fancy wardrobe, and lives in an unassuming home.  Her focus and energy has always been on helping people suffer less, and lead richer, more fulfilled lives.  Being ‘behind the scenes’, we on the staff  see the heroic energy she devotes to keeping Gaia Sagrada on track, so often at the expense of her sleep, and self-care.  We are also privileged to see, first-hand, the life-changing transformations that happen for people through Christine’s work with them, and the time they spend here at the retreat Christine designed.  One of our guest’s dubbed the center ‘God’s Hospital’; that feels spot-on.

Christine has so much more to do here, so much to create, so many people to help discover themselves, heal, show them how to free themselves from their ‘demons’, live more joyful lives, and direct more energy to making the world a better place to be.
